Refund & Return Policy — Medici Books

This policy applies to all orders placed online with Medici Books and is written in accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 and the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

1. Return Window

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase.

You have 28 days from the day you receive your order to return any eligible item for a full refund.

2. Cost of Returns (US, Ireland, UK)

United States: Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty, damaged, or incorrect. We charge $0 restocking fees.
Ireland (Republic of Ireland): Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty, damaged, or incorrect. We charge €0 restocking fees.
United Kingdom: Return shipping is free (£0) when using our official InPost Locker return service. We charge £0 restocking fees.
International Orders: Customers outside these regions are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is faulty, damaged, or incorrect.

3. Condition of Returned Items

To be eligible for a refund, items should be returned:

In a resaleable condition
Free from damage beyond what is necessary to inspect the item
With original packaging where possible

You may inspect a book as you would in a physical bookshop. Excessive handling that reduces the item's value may result in an appropriate deduction from your refund.

4. Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Items

If your item arrives damaged, faulty, incorrect, or not as described, please contact us within 30 days of receipt.

In these cases:

Return shipping will be covered by Medici Books
You may be entitled to a replacement, repair, or full refund
Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 remain unaffected

5. Items Exempt from Returns

The right to return does not apply to:

Personalised or custom-made items
Sealed audio, video, or software products that have been unsealed after delivery

6. How to Start a Free Return

United Kingdom: Email us at medicibooks.mail@gmail.com for a free InPost return label or QR code.
Ireland, United States & International: Email us at medicibooks.mail@gmail.com with your order number. We will provide you with the correct return authorization and our local return mailing address in Birmingham, United Kingdom. Securely package your item and mail it via your local postal service (such as An Post in Ireland).
